Responding to the grief and loss of older people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities

The phrase culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) is a broad term used to describe communities with diverse languages, ethnic backgrounds, nationalities, traditions, and religions. Australia is a multicultural country with many different customs, beliefs, and traditions around grief, loss, and end of life care. While grief is universal and a natural response to loss, our culture, and ethnicity influences the way we experience and express our grief.
